Manual & CNC Lathe Turners – Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Power & Petrochemical Industries

We are looking for skilled Manual Centre Lathe & CNC Lathe Turners to join our team. Ideally, candidates will be time-served, but this is not essential. You will be responsible for machining centrifugally cast spun tube, rolled bar, forgings, and offset carriers to supply industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Power, and Petrochemical.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking individuals with experience operating long-bed lathes, machining standard bored/profiled tubes and offsets using either:

• CNC lathes with Fanuc Series OI-TD controls
• Manual lathes
• Turning component lengths up to 10 metres in stainless, super, and carbon alloys

Your duties will include:

✔ Programming Fanuc Series OI-TD controlled lathes (preferred but not essential)

✔ Recording measurements before and after machining

✔ Conducting visual inspections of machined components

✔ Operating overhead cranes safely and efficiently

✔ Understanding and addressing quality issues

✔ Familiarity with modern management techniques such as TPM and 5S

✔ Ensuring safe working practices in accordance with Paralloy’s safety standards
