£50,000 OTE

Fantastic opportunity to join a thriving property company in Oldham as an Auction House Manager. You will be experienced in property valuations and managing people.
Auction House Manager:
• Understand our customers and how they relate to our products and services;
• Meeting with prospects to convert market appraisals to new instructions for sale to maximise the property sales value which will progress through to completion;
• To be responsible for accurately recording all information collated from telephone and face to face contact on the databases and producing accurate, detailed written sales particular to Company standards;
• Maintaining regular contact with vendors; Reviewing marketing and price and offering advice on property sale;
• Achieving sale targets as determined by the business;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all properties available to maximise sale opportunities;
• Involvement in staff recruitment, development, training and management;
• To lead, manage, engage and provide direction for the team on a daily basis;
• To play an active role in developing the business by meeting and introducing new partner agents and clients;
• Be available to attend networking events outside working hours when necessary;
• Reviewing marketing and price and offering advice on property sale;
• Devise and revise strategies to maximise sales opportunities which will manage offers including negotiation with purchasers and vendors;
• To fully understand and operate Company policies and procedures;
• Undertaking other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility.
Essential criteria:
• Managerial experience specifically within the Property industry
• To have experience of conducting market appraisals with a proven track record of successful conversion to sales;
• Have good organisational and time management skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills both with clients and with staff;
• A positive mind-set and a willingness to adapt and learn
• Personal drive and initiative
• Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing, numerate and computer literate.
Qualification:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the auction industry
• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Membership / Qualification with NAEA.
