We have a great opportunity for an Industrial Operative with opportunity for training on plant an equipment inclusive of B2 forklifts and 360 excavators.

What is the role of a Industrial Operative?

The role of an industrial operative is working within a heavy industrial environment with plant and equipment inclusive of forklifts and crushing machines.

• Operating Counterbalance Forklift truck
• Operating heavy plant
• Operating hoppers, bailers & furnaces
• Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times inclusive of working with airflow systems
• Working as part of bagging teams
• Supporting on Industrial Cleaning

What experience do you need to be a Industrial Operative?

To be successful as an Industrial operative you be a strong team player with a minimum Forklift Counterbalance licence, all other training will be provided!

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence essential
• Experience operating heavy plant such as Loading Shovel, Telehandler, B2 Counterbalance, 360 Excavators is highly desirable but not essential
• Comfortable working in heavy industrial environments inclusive of working out doors and high temperature environments
• Previous experience working in a similar role such as Industrial Cleaner, Yard Operative, Furnace Operative, Steel operative, Industrial Operative, Forklift Driver, Heavy Plant Driver, Machinist, Shut Down Operative is highly desirable but not essential as training provided
• Good work ethic and keen to learn new skills
