Job Description:
Working in their new products department.
Multi-functional team alongside mechanical design engineers, software engineers, production and purchasing teams and project managers.
Lead the development of electronics for new products, working with project managers and product managers to define product specifications and deliver designs to meet those specifications.
Take ownership of the delivery of electronic designs that meet targets for product performance, quality, cost and timescale and which are suitable for transfer to production, considering design for assembly and test.
Experience & Skills:
At least 10 years experience
In-depth specialisation in one or several of: analogue electronics, FPGAs, VHDL, motor control, switch-mode power supplies.
Experience in analogue and digital electronics design, including designing for electromagnetic compatibility.
Expertise in relevant ECAD schematic capture, PCB layout tools and circuit simulation tools.
