The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial solutions manager to join one of the biggest telecoms brands in the UK as they continue to enhance and deliver their business to business technical solutions.
They are a household name telecoms service provider with a market leading reputation and products and this role is an independent role that has no direct reports (Although you will pull together and manage a virtual pursuit team of bid architects, pre-sales and commercial managers) so in essence, from prospect through to contract signature, you'll provide the strategy, vision, and leadership for high value, complex and multi-faceted technology solutions mainly into enterprise customers and public sector.
You'll be the go-to expert that is consulted before meetings happen with potential customers and own process through to signing that customer on. Solutions will range across cloud, mobile, wi-fi, hosting, connectivity and full technology managed services and you'll manage 3rd party vendors (As part of the bid and solution process_ such as Microsoft, Cisco, Servasure, Telindus, Phoenix IT, Unify
Who are you and what is your likely background?
A senior commercial manager that is familiar with how the B2B telecoms space works, and you'll comes from a large value solution background with focus on enterprise customers or providing technology solutions into the public sector.

The customer aspect of this role is key and we do think the sector background is going to be essential - Telecoms, Cloud or Enterprise IT solutions.
The Package
Got good flexibility on location - can base either Basingstoke, Reading, Manchester or Sheffield with good flexibility for remote work.
Paying £75-85,000 with performance related bonus opportunities, KPI linked, 15% of basic salary
