Salary: GBP35000 - GBP38000 per annum + commision, Car or Allowance
A global battery manufacturer is after a Business Development Manager. This brand provides customers high quality products and services through advances technological and innovative ideas. Are you ready for the challenge? Offices based near SLOUGH.

You will be working within the Infrastructure division selling battery solutions to Buyers and Directors within Energy. These are Lithium Iron Rechargeable batteries (LIB) or Custom battery. This could be for Gas, Water, Electric Smart meter back up battery.

Client Meetings:

There will be no meetings in the UK however you will travel to Europe twice a month.
You will be given a Company car or Car Allowance.
If you have Battery sales experience, this is a bonus or if you have sold into similar markets this would also be a bonus however, we are open to experience as long as relevant!

Salary Indicator: Salary is dependent on skills and experience, starting from £35,000-£38,000pa + £5,000 OTE + benefits (car or allowance, mobile, laptop, pension scheme, life assurance)

You will be expected to be in the offices on TUESDAYS and potentially another day - but flexible.

Job Responsibilities;

• Maintain all aspects of assigned business accounts to agreed sales targets
• Support the development of new business and revenue opportunities, identifying USP, value creation and high customer relationships. This includes European travel.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations when required
• (Note some European trade shows, or customer visits in Europe, US, Asia or the other regions require weekend travel)
• Report sales progress reporting on a weekly or monthly basis or as required by line management, and need to be at HQ office when line management requires
• Collate market and customer information and feedback opportunities to management on a regular basis
• Accept other tasks or projects as assigned by senior management.

Essential:

• Account manager with demonstrable face to face meeting experience and sales achievement in the business-to-business market
• An ability to set goals, manage time and multiple projects
• Good communication skills and telephone manner
• Must hold full passport and UK driving license for business travel
• Possess sales experience across one or more EU countries, outside of the UK
• English language both written and spoken.
