Stafforce is currently recruiting a forklift driver for our client’s manufacturing site in Billingham. This is a temporary role with the potential to become long-term, working on a 3-shift rotation:

Shift Rotation:

• Days: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Backs: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Nights: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Organising orders for distribution and moving them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, or storage facilities.
• Performing daily equipment checks, including inspecting the forklift for safety and functionality.
• Examining and reporting on products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Completing all necessary procedural paperwork accurately.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across the warehouse, working areas, and grounds.
• Supporting stock checks and ensuring stock accuracy.
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and legal guidelines.
• Assisting in maintaining a safe and orderly environment in the facility.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to high health and safety standards.
• Must hold an accredited counterbalance forklift license.
