THE ROLE

QLD Health Torres and Cape is seeking ongoing locum support for their public dental clinic over the coming months. This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential dental care to remote Aboriginal and Torres and Cape  communities while gaining valuable experience. The role focuses on general and emergency dental services, with flexible contract lengths available, ranging from 4 to 6 weeks.

Start date: Flexible

Experience: Minimum 3 years of Australian experience

THE LOCATION

The Torres and Cape region in northern Queensland includes the Torres Strait Islands and Cape York Peninsula, both known for their remoteness and rich Indigenous culture. The Torres Strait Islands, located between Queensland and Papua New Guinea, are home to Indigenous communities, with Thursday Island as the main hub. The islands are famous for their maritime culture and pristine marine environments.
