Main activities: 
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance operations, specifically focusing on the Boeing 707 aircraft. This role involves managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimizing production processes to meet operational goals.

Experience/Knowledge Required: 
 

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance activities for the 707 aircraft, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for efficiency and productivity improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address and resolve any production issues, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure all work is performed to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and manage the production budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, challenges, and opportunities.


Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Certification: GACA or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in aircraft maintenance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
