Our client has an opportunity for a Touring Pilot to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation supporting UK HEMS operations.

Type Ratings EC135 and/or EC145 will be provided.  

An exciting opportunity to join our client, a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police and offshore sectors.  They provide world-class operations to their customers helping them to save lives and protect communities.
Our client operates both EC135 and EC145 aircraft in a variety of roles. The position available is for a Regionally based Touring pilot to predominantly provide support to our operations in the North, Midlands and south of England. This position offers varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines including HEMS and NVIS operations.
What do I need to do the role?

  • Hold a UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) + IR
  • Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK


Either:
 

  • 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft of which 500 hours is pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters; or 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS/Police operations of which 500 hours is as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.
  • 2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience.
  • 500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
  • 20 hours VFR at night as pilot in command.
