Data Engineer – Long-term – Amsterdam, Hybrid
Levy Professionals is currently looking for Data Engineers with strong experience in ETL processes and Azure technologies for one of the largest financial institutions in the Netherlands. You will be taking part in the ensurance of efficient data flows across the IT systems and enhancing the current data platform.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, your key responsibilities include the following:
-Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes,
-Gather clients’ data requirements and ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy,
-Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance scalability, and monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs and workflows to ensure timely resolution of issues for clients projects,
-Use Azure services to implement and manage ETL processes for clients and leverage WAS services as needed to support data integration and analytics for clients projects.
Who are you?
-5+ years of experience as a data engineer, wit ha focus on ETL processes,
-Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services, Azure certifications as a proof of relevant knowledge,
-Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala,
-Knowledge of data management and warehousing concepts and tools,
-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
