Process Planning Engineer

Process Planning Engineer (BBBH14179) Broughton, Wales

Salary: GBP32.03 - GBP35.03 per hour

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Process Planning Engineer to join them on a 12 -month contract.


Role: Process Planning Engineer
Pay: £35.03 per hour via Umbrella
Contract: Monday to Friday, 35 Hours a week,12 months
Location: Broughton
IR35: Inside
SC Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

  • Review and sign design for manufacture drawings
  • Review design changes using PFMEA and discuss with multi-functional team to understand impacts to production (tooling, process, risk, ergonomics)
  • Update manufacturing engineering work preparation in line with requested changes: routing, bill of material, standard operating instruction, MTM Ticon, PPV
  • Assess the changes made to determine if production process verification (PPV) is required
  • Able to upload and amend ENG drawings and add photos and tooling instructions to SOIs.

Essential Skills and Experince

  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team during stages of modifications.
  • Good communication skills (English)
  • Sap Experince
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Good time management
  • Educated to HNC or higher in an Engineering field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Self-sufficient and mange workload in line with business needs.
