On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Component Selection Engineer
on an initial 6-month contract. The Senior Component Engineer will select, vet, and catalogue mechanical, electromechanical components and materials used in all of our missile products. You will also ensure compliance with specific standards and the management of obsolescence.  

Role: Component Engineer
Pay: £50.00 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Stevenage – 1 day a week onsite
Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 6 Months contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: SC Required

Essential Requirements
 

• Knowledge or experience in electromechanical components and materials
• Appreciation of REACH and RoHS regulations.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Pro-activeness and self-motivation to improve self, improve process, and get the job done.
