About the role
As a trusted IT professional, the Global Service Desk Manager will be responsible for the leadership of a team of Service Desk Analysts and the provision and improvement of service and support for End User computing while providing advice and support on all Navitas IT Service Management processes.
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
Essential:
- At least 5 years’ experience working in IT end user / helpdesk environment
- Industry recognised certification in an appropriate IT field
- Experience managing teams across multiple offices and time zones
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
- Solid organisational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering excellent customer service
- Enthusiastic people leader able to demonstrate experience working in and facilitating collaborative team environments
- Legal right to work in Australia
Desirable:
- Prior experience in leading and managing delivery teams
- Experience within the education sector
- A solid understanding of Microsoft technologies
- Qualification in ITIL Foundation
