CPP QAQC Surveillance Engineer (EPCIC13) Doha, Qatar

We are looking for a CPP QAQC Surveillance Engineer with the following details 

Location : Doha, Qatar AND South Korea 

Start date: SEP-2024

Demob date: AUG-2026

Work Status : Resident, Single 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Education to HND/BTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.
  • Professional Experience (number of years) : 15.
  • Experience within project: (number of years) : 10.
  • Experience in Vendor Package Source Inspection Management/Coordination (number of years) : 10.
  • Similar experience is required on wellhead platform, topsides, structure, piping, pressure vessels, electrical equipment, rotating machines and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN, ISO, API, ASME and ASTM.
  • Experience on construction yard is required.
  • A good knowledge of  Company Standards GS standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication and inspection of Vendor Package.
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
  • Language: English mandatory

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To implement the Major Project Quality Management System at Project and Package level.
  • To implement the COMPANY Technical Referential and applicable local, international codes and standards.
  • To support CPP QAQC Lead for VENDOR Package Quality Management System referencing to Project Quality Plan,  Source /Surveillance Inspection Procedure and Receiving inspection procedure.
  • To assist Package Discipline Engineer for review of Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation and
  • Clarification related to Quality and Certification as per Exhibit A and Exhibit H of the EPCIC Contract.
  • To participate in New Vendor Prequalification Audit and Scheduled Audit during manufacturing.
  • To ensure that Management of Change (MOC) process (DEV/TQR)  is implemented by the CONTRACTOR to the Vendor Package.
  • To attend Kick-Off meeting (KOM), Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM), participate in Weekly Procurement (SCM) meeting and Weekly Quality Metting with CONTRACTOR.
  • To review Vendor procedure and associated Vendor Quality record through MANASA (EDMS).
  • To manage all Notification of Inspection (NOI) from CONTRACTOR originated from the VENDORs and
  • SUBVENDORs.
  • To maintain Witness/Hold inspection status register covering all inspections at VENDOR premises and to ensure that no missing NOI for Witness / Hold points as per VENDOR package ITPs.
  • To manage COMPANY Inspector representative mobilisation for each Witness and Hold inspection according to approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and follow-up the 6 weeks inspection look ahead and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) attendance planTo ensure all inspection reports, FAT reports, Inspection Release Note (IRN), and VENDOR Outstanding Works are issued, reviewed and distributed to Discipline Package Engineer and other relevant persons.
  • To ensure Package Quality Documents are in approved condition before inspection. And to monitor all quality
  • documents are submitted and approved including Vendor Data Book.
  • To coordinate with Yard team receiving inspection of material and equipment upon arrival at EPCIC yard, following up of
  • VENDOR Outstanding Works, and Punch List co-ordination with CONTRACTOR.
  • To understand and ensure OPERCOM (ICAPS) philosophy implementation at Package VENDORs for various precommissioning and FAT activities including punch list management.
  • Whilst having a direct hierarchical and reporting link with CPP QA/QC Lead, the CPP QAQC Surveillance Engineer will be interfacing with transvers Technical Team for NDT and Welding Engineering matter as well as Discipline Package Engineer.
