HSE Officer (HSE) Doha, Qatar
Our Client is looking for an HSE Officer with the following details:
Location : Doha, Qatar
Duration : 7 Months
Work Status : Resident, Single. 6 days a week ( Day Shift and Night Shift )
*** preferably candidates in Qatar
ACTIVITIES
- Promote the HSE and Quality culture
- Organize and participate in HSE inspection tours
- Perform Safety induction
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly safety meeting with contractor
Ensure Control of Work:
- Work place hazard identification
- Permit to Work with detail description of the work, related hazards (including hot works, electrical hazards, etc.), required safety precautions and emergency response preparedness
- Job Specific Risk assessment detailing the specific tasks, the hazards associated and control and mitigations measures.
- Toolbox talk participation/leading
- Electrical Safety knowledge: Isolation Confirmation Certificate (ICC), lockout/tagout, etc.
- Working at height safety rules, ladder safety, scaffolding safety, specific PPE
- Hot works (welding/grinding) safety rules
- Manual handling
- Lifting operations
- Safe Storage of material/equipment
- Assist and advise in incident investigation, propose recommendations to prevent recurrence of similar incidents
- Follow up anomalies reported
- Develop minimum HSE requirements for COMPANY Tower revamping campaign (if required)
- Attending project planning and collaborating with construction contractor
Emergency preparedness:
- First aid (trained first aiders, first aid kit, defibrillator)
- Firefighting capabilities (trained responders and portable CO2 or Dry Powder fire extinguishers)
- Emergency drills: Plan, organize and participate
