Role Overview:
As a Process & Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ranging from the handling of goods to the operation of machinery for manufacturing and blending chemical products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in chemical processing, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods in and out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload specialist lorries, ensuring the safe handling of materials.
- Operate machinery used for manufacturing and blending chemical products.
- Prepare and label packaging for filling and distribution.
- Organise and manage incoming goods within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, maintaining accuracy throughout.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records.
- Prepare and print labels using specialised software.
- Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations.
- Perform general warehouse and production duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse or production environments, particularly with chemical handling, is highly preferred.
- A Counterbalance FLT (Forklift) license is a plus but not mandatory.
