Role Overview:

As a Process & Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ranging from the handling of goods to the operation of machinery for manufacturing and blending chemical products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in chemical processing, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods in and out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload specialist lorries, ensuring the safe handling of materials.
  • Operate machinery used for manufacturing and blending chemical products.
  • Prepare and label packaging for filling and distribution.
  • Organise and manage incoming goods within the warehouse.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, maintaining accuracy throughout.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records.
  • Prepare and print labels using specialised software.
  • Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety regulations.
  • Perform general warehouse and production duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehouse or production environments, particularly with chemical handling, is highly preferred.
  • A Counterbalance FLT (Forklift) license is a plus but not mandatory.
