NTech is recruiting a Pre Sales Consultant to work for this leading Telecoms Managed Services Provider in the London. The Pre Sales Consultant will be responsible for the client scoping and HLD Design and development to handover to an executed solution.
We will consider applicants from a Sales Engineering, Pre Sales, Technical Consultant or similar background ideally in telecoms/ISP or datacentre industries.


KEY TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:
Wide Area Networking and Carrier Technologies (MPLS & SIP Trunking).
IP Networking & Security.
Public cloud environments including Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
An understanding of deployment models; On-premise, Hosted, Cloud and Hybrid.
An understanding of Unified Communications including PBX and Session Boarder
Controllers
An understanding of Contact Centre Technologies.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience within a Presales role working for an ISP or telecommunications provider
Strong network design and architecture skills
Commercially astute and confident within a client facing role giving presentations and holding conference calls
Knowledge of networking including MPLS, IP Networking, Internet Services and Security, BGP, VRRP, EIGRP, IP Addressing and routing protocols
Previous hands on technical experience is key to this role
Exposure to VPLS, Voice, IPV6, Cloud services, Hosting Environments, Firewalling and Unified Communications would be advantageous


Location: London, Home based.

Term: Full Time

Rate: £50-60k + Bonus + Bens

Overview:

The primary role of the Pre Sales Consultant is to undertake technical ownership and responsibility for small to medium sized opportunities and accounts. You will provide the role of a trusted advisor to both our valued Customers, Account Managers and Channel Partners. It is vital that you retain ownership of your solutions from early inception through to project delivery and customer acceptance.
You will also be required to provide feedback to the company regarding evolving customer preferences, complaints and needs, and competitive efforts and trends in the overall industry and marketplace.

The Pre Sales Consultant would be expected to:-
Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
Demonstrate expertise and experience with Networking, Telephony and IT within medium to large enterprise environments.
Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations confidently to technical and non-technical audiences.
Capture, document and relay customer requirements and product enhancement,
Produce high quality internal and customer facing collateral.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Account Management teams in sales meetings, client presentations and web conferences.
Join up multiple elements into a single solution and articulate the benefits.
Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
Advocate our solutions and services to customers and at off-site events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
Aid in proposal, presentation and technical documentation creation.
Convey customer requirements into valid design.
Provide technical backup during an implementation of the solution.
Provide product, service and technology training to the sales team.
Management of Design queues through sales CRM.
