A fantastic opportunity for a talented Senior Designer with a passion for print design, typography and branding, and solid experience from within FMCG packaging design to join our highly creative and successful Bristol based client. They work with some of the biggest FMCG brands in the world such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola and Mattel and are now looking for someone to join their team who can bring strong ideas and clear thinking to the table on a senior level in order to meet their clients’ challenges in uniquely creative ways.
What does the role entail?
Key responsibilities will involve all aspects of creative work including idea generation, concept exploration, design development and finalisation, delivering both high quality and well considered design solutions to meet client’s needs. Brand guardianship will be an important aspect of the work as will be a drive to strive for excellence in order to maintain the agency’s high standards and excellence. As part of the role you will also be involved in helping to manage external creatives and in time act as a mentor to junior members of the team within an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration.
What skills and experience are required?
The successful candidate will come with 4 – 5 years of experience in packaging design, branding and identity with a strong portfolio to match. Experience of designing for the FMCG sector is a must, as are strong Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) backed up by a degree within fine arts or graphic design. You should have experience of owning a brand and developing concepts from initial brief through to final delivery with a good understanding of the print process and technology, excellent communication and organisational skills alongside a very keen eye for detail.
