CMM Inspector

Paying up to £35,000 per annum

Day shifts: Monday – Friday

PERMANENT ROLE

Our client in Nottingham is looking for a CMM Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client manufactures products for a variety of industries including aerospace and oil and gas. They will consider any CMM experience and salary will be based on skill level and competence.

Job Description:

• Use manual measuring equipment to validate components to drawing specifications
• Use CMM to measure components Identify any con-conforming components
• Producing non-conformance reports
• Working from technical drawings
• Using a variety of measuring tools including verniers and callipers

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience of working within a manufacturing engineering environment
• Experienced in the use of manual measuring equipment.
• Have a good understanding of Turning, Milling and Grinding Have a full understanding of engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and general assemblies.
• Experience in operating a 3 axis co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM)
• Programming experience would be very beneficial but not essential
