NIGHT SHIFTS: Monday – Thursday

Our client in Sutton in Ashfield is looking for a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their team on a permanent basis on night shifts. Our client specialises in the Aerospace industry producing a variety of components and structures all the precision tolerances.

Job Description: CNC Miller Setter Operator

Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines

Tool offsetting

Program selection

Reading and working from engineering drawings

Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment and practices

Self-inspection and visual quality checking of parts

Resolution of non-conformance issues

Using measuring tools including micrometers, verniers and calipers

Managing route cards

Partaking in team activities and discussions including board meetings and improvement incentives

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Skilled CNC Miller

Confident setting and operating using Haas controls (but client will consider other controls)

Able to run multiple machines at the same time

Skilled in working to tight tolerances +/-0.01mm

Experience manufacturing Airbus components would be desirable

Experience working to tight tolerances

Experience of working to AS9100/CAA Part 21 (G) standards

Package: CNC Miller Setter Operator

£16.33 per hour + 33% shift allowance

Night shifts Monday – Thursday

Every Friday off!
