An opportunity has arisen with my client for a Senior MRO Executive on a permanent basis. The main purpose of this role is to advise and support our clients commercial operations through the management of repair work.

Role: Senior MRO Executive
Salary: Upon Application
Location: West Sussex
Hours: Monday-Friday  - 1-2 days working from home.

Responsibilities:
 

• Manage & build relationships with repair shops/vendors globally
• Management of vendor selection and maintenance of relevant systems
• Source, collate and analyse repair work quotes for third-party repairs, exchanges, stock, consignment and warranty returns
• Commercial analysis – price negotiations with repair shops where appropriate
• Issuing invoices. e.g. Repair exchange transactions, third-party repair
• Oversee approved repair work, ensuring that items material is repaired in-line the work scope, to budget and on-time
• Internal technical support. e.g. Support Sales with technical information, costs (test, repair, OH, etc.), vendor information, etc.
• Report monitoring. e.g. Off core returns, third-party return shipments, ageing orders, unserviceable stock
• Management of MRO inbox
• You may also be required to provide additional support to the Sales team fulfilling various administrative functions in times of high demand.

Skills/Experience

• Minimum 4 years relevant MRO experience
• Minimum of 3 A Levels or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Quantum ERP system
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercial understanding of contracts – supplier/customer Terms and/or Agreements
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Understanding of Illustrated Parts Catalogues – Desirable
• Understanding of Component Maintenance Manuals – Desirable
• International travel may be required.
• Working out of normal business hours may be required on occasion.
