Graduate Procurement Engineer (BBBH16379) Prestwick, Scotland
I am currently recruiting for a Graduate Procurement engineer. As the Procurement engineer you will gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of procurement, sourcing, logistics, supplier delivery and supply chain management. You will be liaising with suppliers, engaging in order management, customer negotiations, cost and inventory reduction activities and logistics support.

Location: Prestwick
Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- To procure all Aircraft parts, raw materials and tooling required to support EASA Part 145 Regulated MRO.
- Liaise directly with the customer/supplier to ensure highest levels of customer service are achieved, expediting orders and ensuring just in time delivery.
- Manage, develop and negotiate existing and new sales agreements with suppliers.
- Monitor Supplier performance based on our clients list and to liaise with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure compliance.
- Determine levels of inventory to meet organisational metrics.
- Negotiate and administer purchase orders in support of production needs.
- Work with finance to address any payment issues.
- Assisting the organisation for movement of spares, materials and tooling to/from locations, as necessary.
- Review levels of inventory to identify obsolete or excess stock and take necessary steps to reduce inventory.
- Manage current approved suppliers’ list.
- Ensuring the Health & Safety Policy is maintained in accordance with the company’s Safety Policy.
- Carrying out such other duties as reasonably directed.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Full rights to live and work in the UK required upon application.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to procurement.
- Experience in setting, developing and maintaining procurement department procedures.
- Experience in managing departmental Health & Safety and Compliance.
- Demonstratable experience in managing sales agreements and ongoing relationships with suppliers.
- Ability to work autonomously

- Ability to challenge existing ways of working and provide suggestion for improvements
- Microsoft Office experience
