Job title: Court of Protection Associate

Salary: £52,000-£64,000

PQE Level: 4+ PQE

Our client is known as a leading full service firm in Sussex looking to expand their well-regarded Court of Protection team.

They seek a COP Solicitor or an experienced Legal Executive who has experience, a genuine interest in the work with exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to understand the range and type of client so as to identify needs.

Working alongside leaders in their field you will be working on high value deputyships and private trust work, preparing all types of applications to the COP including statutory Wills, assisting in the purchase of properties and adapting them for the needs of the client, controlling and monitoring clients’ budgets, liaising with case managers and other professionals, supervising tax affairs and accounts, attending trustee meetings, taking notes and assisting with the preparation of trustee resolutions and drafting personal injury trusts.
