About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Services Manager to lead the operation of a modern, apartment-style aged care home that accommodates 103 residents. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care and maintaining the facility’s standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of older Victorians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage and inspire a diverse team of staff and volunteers to provide exemplary care and service.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve HR issues, client complaints, and serious incidents promptly.
  • Quality & Risk Management: Oversee the implementation and effective use of quality and risk management systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to incident management, reporting obligations, and legislative changes.
  • Financial Management: Maintain financial performance, including occupancy levels and budget outcomes.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and volunteers.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a team effectively.
  • Aged Care Experience: Familiarity with Aged Care legislative frameworks, Compulsory Reporting, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Financial Acumen: Knowledge of ANACC, its business impacts, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Passion for Care: Commitment to high-quality service and continuous improvement.
  • Desirable: Background as a Registered Nurse (RN) is a plus but not essential.
