A prominent housing association are recruiting for an experienced, Part Time Rota Coordinator in Dunston to support their Supported Living Team with the updating of staff rolling rotas and support with booking agency staff for any unallocated shifts

THE ROLE
In this Part Time Rota Coordinator role, you will be carrying out the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Allocate Resources to Meet Individual Contracts: Collaborate with the Care Service Manager to develop and maintain staff rotas, manage absences, handle service delivery variations, oversee Relief staff and agency relationships, and ensure accurate system updates for payments.
  • Liaise with Staff: Notify staff of rota changes within agreed timelines, maintain effective relationships, and promptly address service roster and invoicing inquiries.
  • Develop and Maintain Administrative Systems and Processes: Use ICT systems for information production, administer financial systems, manage ordering and payment processes, and maintain accurate budget monitoring and record-keeping.
  • Administration of Individual Financial Accounts: Complete contracts and payment methods for new contracts, establish and manage service user financial accounts, coordinate and process invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.


THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Part Time Rota Coordinator role, you will require the following skills:

  • Previous Rota Coordination experience
  • Excellent IT Skills (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of Supported Housing is preferable
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Demonstrable experience in a varied administrative role
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to draft concise and accurate written information


 THE CONTRACT
This is a part time Temporary contract, working 12-15 hours per week, days to be confirmed, for an initial 12 week period, with a good chance of extension or becoming permanent
