Position: Trade Supervisor
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Location: East London
Type: Temp to perm role
We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Trade Supervisor to help with reactive maintenance and voids. You will be working for a housing association based in East London covering work within domestic properties.
Trade Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise teams and individuals in various maintenance and void projects.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship in fitting kitchens, bathrooms, and wet-rooms.
- Perform associated tasks in carpentry, domestic plumbing, and tiling.
- Diagnose and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain excellent communication with team members and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
Essential Requirements of a Trade Supervisor:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the general building trades.
- Qualified and experienced in fitting kitchens, bathrooms, and wet-rooms.
- Skilled in carpentry, domestic plumbing, and tiling.
- Previous experience in supervising teams and individuals.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use own initiative.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving license.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- All site workers will be required to undergo a DBS check.
