Maintenance Engineer – Redruth

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a world leading dairy company in the Redruth area.

With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineering role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Time served as a maintenance engineer, ideally with an electrically biased skillset.
• Experience with the maintenance of production machinery in a FMCG environment.
• Attending to breakdowns on site in a timely manner (both electrical and mechanical).
• Look to drive continuous improvement on site, prioritising safety and efficiency.
• Fault Finding and Problem solving.
• Work as part of engineering team.

 Knowledge, Skills & Experience 

• Severed Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (BTEC Level 3 or ONC) Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

• Time Severed in a FMCG or Food Environment is desired.
• Ideally 18^th Edition
• Automation, PLC Programming and SCADA systems experience.
• Good understanding of HACCP principles
• Strong teamworking skills and be H&S focussed
