We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant in a school setting so a DBS check is required for this role. This is just a temporary position covering from the 28th November until the 19th December so you must be available between these dates.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 10am to 2pm
• 20 hours per week

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• To prepare, cook and serve school meals
• To be responsible for hygiene and cleanliness within food preparation areas.
• To always operate in a safe manner, observing company health and safety and allergen policies and guidelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Catering and Standards

· Prepare and cook food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned procedures at all times

· Be punctual with your time-keeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered

· Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times

· Undertake training as necessary to maintain the requirements of the contract
