MACHINE OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with the World’s leading provider in sealants, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Machine operative to work in the HU17 area in Beverley. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers full time, ongoing work with the potential of a permanent role after just 12 weeks with an excellent pay rate of (£12.98/hr) and opportunities for overtime paid at premium rates.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Thursday rotating shifts Mornings and Afternoons

5am to 2pm / 1.45pm to 10.45pm

The Machine operative role is a Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. Once you have completed 12 weeks work you will be offered a permanent placement.

Job description

As a Machine operative you will be responsible for the for the manufacturing and production of ink cartridges. Day to day you will be expected to;

·        Load machine - ensuring that the correct type of ink products are stocked and maintained to the machines requirements

·        Quality check products that are being produced by the machine

·        Completing relevant paperwork

·        Manually boxing and packing products at the end of line

·        Report any issues and machine faults immediately, ensuring these are rectified quickly and efficiently

·        Adhere to health and safety at all times

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Machine operative you must;

·        Have previous experience working as a Machine operative

·        Have experience within quality control

·        Be technically minded

·        Be committed, team player with a keen eye for detail.

·        Reliable with good timekeeping.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
