Meat food production

Working in partnership with a food manufacturer based in Driffield, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Food production packer and Mixing operatives time to work in the Driffield area. This is a temp position with a pay rate of (£11.60-12.00hr)

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30pm

Start date / Duration

The Food production mixing operatives role is a temp position with a 12 week duration. This will commence with immediate effect, however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

As a Food production Mixing Operative you will be responsible for Mixing cooked meats such as chicken, ham to include heavy lifting (mayonnaise) packing cooked meats and decanting on line. You will adhere to Food health and safety regulations. Waste segregation preparation, having a flexible attitude and a willingness to work are essential.

Mixing Department:

·       Heavy lifting

·       Pack product ensuring quality

·       De cantering cooked meats onto the line

·       Mixing cooked meats

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position you must;

• Have Food production experience
• Have own transport, due to location
• Proven experience as a Food Production Packer ideal but not essential
• This role is working in a chilled environment with full PPE provided
• Have excellent English
• Be willing to learn and progress
• Have worked with machines before
