Meat food production

Working in partnership with a food manufacturer based in Driffield, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Food production slicing operatives and packer both full time to work in the Driffield area. This is an temp to perm position that WILL go perm after 12 weeks with a pay rate of (£11.60 - £12/hr)

Shift pattern / Working hours

Packing area

Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm

Slicing area

Monday to Friday

6:30 – 3:30pm

Packing area 2

Monday to Friday 7:45 – 4:30pm

The Food production packer & Slicer role is an temp to perm position after a 12 week duration. This will commence with immediate effect, however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. This position is flexible and can offer part time for those for need it.

Job description

As a Food production packer you will be responsible for packing cooked meats and changing packing on machine and adhering to Food health and safety regulations. Waste segregation preparation, having a flexible attitude and a willingness to work are essential.

OR

You will be packing sandwich fillers and making boxes

 Day to day you will be expected to;

·      Decanting meat

·      Chilled packing environment

·      Packing and picking

·      Working with cooked meats

·      Making boxes

Slicing Department:

·      Read orders from a shit and programme machine

·      Monitor slicing machine

·      Pack meats once sliced ensuring quality

·      Ensuring meats go in correct area once racked

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position you must;

• Have Food production experience
• Have own transport, due to location
• Proven experience as a Food Production Packer ideal but not essential
• This role is working in a chilled environment with full PPE provided
• Have excellent English
• Be willing to learn and progress
• Have worked with machines before
