QUALITY TECHNICIAN
Working in partnership with the World’s leading food packaging provider in Brigg. We are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Quality technician. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers full time, ongoing work with the potential of a permanent role after just 12 weeks with a fantastic pay (£12.41 per hour)
Location
We are ideally looking for people that have their own transport and would be willing to commute to Brigg. Being flexible will open a wider opportunity for you to secure more work.
Shift pattern / Working hours
4 on 4 off rotation
2 days 6am-6pm then 2 nights 6pm-6am
Start date / Duration
The Quality Technician role is a Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. Once you have completed 12 weeks work you will be offered a permanent placement.
Job description
• Carry out internal Quality audits of the quality systems including product, 5’s, hygiene, glass, and Insects audits
• Supervise quality records and retained samples
• Organize materials in quarantine, maintain records, and notify relevant personnel
• Control of positive release
• Carry out material analysis for product development and corrective action investigations
• Perform product inspection / testing for;
- Materials in Quarantine
- New materials / development
- Others as directed
And report results to Quality and Technical Manager
• Input non – conforming material information on to the computer for reporting purposes
• QA Administration work as assigned
• Other projects as assigned including WCM
• General weekend, sickness absence and holiday cover as and when required

The successful candidate:
· Previous experience working as a Quality technician is ideal but is not essential.
· Reliable with good timekeeping.
· Happy to speak to the public in a polite and helpful manner.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
