Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of components for Motorsport engines. They are a SME who value teamwork, and attention to detail. They are looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector with experience working in a simialr industry, and can work well on their own.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Inspect mechanical components/assemblies to ensure quality standards
- Implement quality protocols and drive process improvements.
- In-house quality standards (similar to AS9000)
- Use hand-held tools (Verniers, Micrometers, Height Gauges) to analyze dimensions and tolerances
- Operate CMM machinery
- Documentation - (Non) Conformance reports and FAIRS
- Address quality issues with engineering/production teams
- Liaise with suppliers on non-conformances etc.
- 3D viewing of parts
- Stand-alone role reporting to the Workshop Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical Inspection experience
- Motorsport or Aerospace background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
