Job Description
- The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality team.
- Liaising with Production Managers, Engineers, Works Inspectors and NDT to ensure timely and effective quality Control is exercised on company products.
- Creation and maintenance of Quality Procedures and the company quality Manual.
- Identifying, implementing and progressing quality improvement projects
- Reporting on Customer complaints and Customer satisfaction responses.
- Responsibility for NDT department operations.
- Planning and coordinating Internal Audits.
- Welding Engineering, Welding procedure compiling & qualification, Welder approval qualification.
- Assist with the maintaining of ISO9001, ISO1473, 45001 and 14001 quality management systems.
Requirements
- Quality Management experience.
- Preferable experience in fabrication and manufacturing environment.
- Qualified European Welding Engineer/Technologist.
- Hold a PCN/CSWIP in an NDT discipline is desirable.
- Desirable experience in running and maintaining an ASME ‘S’ & ‘U’ stamp quality system.
