An industry leading recycling plant are looking to add a Junior Site Chemist to their lab team. Joining a two-shift pattern, you will be working alongside a successful team in an established business. This is an exciting opportunity for a Chemistry graduate looking for some experience out of university. This is a role suited for a practical, hands on personality with work being split between the laboratory and outdoors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with all Environmental permit
- Inspecting incoming waste streams; sampling, analysis and assigning treatment route
- Completion of waste transfer and hazardous waste consignment documentation.
- Analysis of process residue
- Maintenance of containerised waste stock register
- Maintenance of laboratory supplies stock
- Data input regarding delivery information and analytical results to the company database
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Degree / HND in Chemistry or applied science
- A good physical fitness
- A good organizational skillset
Benefits Package:
- £26-28,000
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays

- 4% Pension
