Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of LED products supplying to a number of different sectors. They are looking for a hands on Quality Inspector with experience using hand held tools, documenting, and ensuring high quality products. They value hard work and team work. The succesful candidate will be subjected to great training and the ability to learn new things.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Hands on Quality Inspector role 
• Inspecting machined metal (mostly aluminum) and plastic components for LED lighting, air filtration, and visual displays
• Using hand held tools- Calipers, verniers, gauges etc.
• Visual inspections 
• Goods In first article inspections (AS9102), through to finished assembled products
• Internal calibration of measuring equipment and documenting
• Working to AS9100 and IS09001 quality standards
• Marking up drawings
• FAIR reports
• Helping with monitoring training of staff

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Used hand held tools 
• Complying to quality standards 
• CAD experience is desirable
• IT Literate
