Role

20% hands on, 80% design (opportunity to do welding, fabrication and CNC work)

Working on large projects in heavy mechanical industries

Liasing with clients and production to ensure expectations are managed well

Creating technical specs for production

Creating prototypes for potential modifications

Key Skills

4+ years in mechanical design

2+ years in a heavy engineering

Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD packages

Experience with design/production documentation

Experience liaising with multiple teams
