About the Client:
My client, a giant data center client is greatly expanding their business across APAC including Hong Kong. They are now looking for a Critical Facilities Manager to join their existing high-profile team in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the director of Operations, this position will manage a team of engineering professionals within the facility to maintain 24/7 service.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the facility is always available for live loads, maintain continuous operation of critical loads and ensure minimum redundancy levels on all power and equipment.
• Manage the Critical Facilities team to maintain fully reliable infrastructure, emphasizing energy efficiency, continuity of services, and budgetary constraints.
• Monitoring the facilities team workflow, training plans, event planning, customer communication, hiring, and performance management
• Ensure the facility is sufficiently staffed to offer round the clock (24/7) coverage and personnel are trained to company required standards.
• Ensuring the data center maintains 100% availability for all live loads. Maintain continuous operation of Critical Loads. Maintain minimum redundancy levels on all critical power and cooling equipment.  Maintain continuous operation of all control, monitoring, fire and security systems.
• Guiding the team regarding any challenge: Documentation/Report development, testing, capital planning, replacement, and expansion of existing facilities.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision
• 3+ years of management experience of a team of engineers
• Able to understand building automation systems (BMS/CMMS), and proficiency in design and technical documentation applications such as (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore).
• MS Office skill
• Good teamwork and lead by example
• Good presentation and liaison skill with proven English and Chinese proficiency is also essential of the role.
