Role Description 

The company are growing sustainably, as a result they have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor located in Derbyshire. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, planning, and reporting. The role involves overseeing cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency, and liaising with project stakeholders.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in a similar role with a civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, ground stabilisation contractor
• Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills
• Experience in preparing BOQs and Cost Planning
• Knowledge of construction project cost management
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Professional certification or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
