Your new company
Hays Logistics are currently working with a well-known steel distributor in Dandenong who are seeking an experienced storeperson on an ongoing basis.
Your new role
- General warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks, restock racking, order picking, housekeeping etc.
- Crane Operation of a two hoist 6.4 tonne crane. – No previous experience required with training and internal competency assessment to be provided.
- Forklift work for movement of equipment and loading or unloading of vehicles. – Licence will be required.
- Operation of manufacturing equipment to cut material. – Training and competency assessment will be provided.
- Administrative duties such as E-Learning, payroll. Emails and other company correspondence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must hold valid forklift licence
- Have experience in a similar storeperson role
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be willing to go through pre-employment medical prior to starting
- Physically fit and capable
- Computer-literate and knowledge of MS Excel and word
