We need assistance in making modeled data accessible to users on the newly established Data & Analytics Platform for Damage & Income. This platform leverages the scalability of the Azure cloud, a broader array of data sources, and increased flexibility to fulfill our data objectives.

Work Environment Description (Department/Project):

As a part of the Data Modelling squad, collaborate with a team of six colleagues on the central data warehouse model for Damage & Income. Adopt the Data Vault 2.0 method with a data warehouse automation tool for rapid integration of new data sources into our model. Subsequently, make the data available to various user groups within Damage & Income through data marts. These marts serve as inputs for rate analysis, diverse dashboards, and reporting, laying a crucial foundation for fair pricing to our customers and reliable reporting to shareholders and regulators.

Daily collaboration with colleagues in the modelling squad and weekly engagement with other squads in infrastructure, data access, and data quality. Agile work methodology is followed, with experienced modelers constituting the team. Regular contact with end-users for explaining the data model or implementing enhancements. Flexibility to work independently from home with a balance of online meetings. Weekly office meetings with all squads for collaborative problem-solving and team bonding.

Assignment Description:

• Sustain and enhance the design of diverse data models.

• Develop Notebooks (Databricks) and Pipelines (Azure Data Factory).

• Document work on our wiki.

• Establish, sustain, and utilize CI/CD applications.

Specific Knowledge and Requirements:

• Proactive and transparent in communication.

• Proficient in providing and receiving both substantive and personal feedback professionally.

• Demonstrated expertise in SQL and Python.

• Proven experience with Data Vault 2.0.

• Familiarity with the Azure Cloud, including ADF, Databricks, and ADLS.
