Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining the data warehouse at Tikkie. In this role, you play both a strategic and executive role, overseeing opportunities to use data more intelligently for the relevance of Tikkie's users and customers. As an experienced Data Engineer, you have the opportunity to collaborate with various development teams to derive collective insights and further develop and integrate the data warehouse into Tikkie's daily activities.
The data warehouse serves as a crucial hub for Tikkie, bringing together data from various sources to support different use cases within the platform. The engineer is ideally someone who can translate goals/use cases into technical implementations, connecting both front-end and back-end sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connecting and maintaining various (internal) sources, including both front-end and back-end sources.
- Creating a future-proof vision regarding the use of data.
- Linking the data warehouse to various web and app environments within Tikkie.
Skills:
- Experience in maintaining a data warehouse and data pipeline architecture within AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Familiarity with common data tools such as Airflow, dbt, Metabase, PowerBI, Redis, and others.
- Experience in setting up complex ETL pipelines and orchestrating these processes within AWS.
- Proficiency in AWS, specifically Redshift, Aurora Serverless, DynamoDB, and R.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- (Pre) certified: AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty.
