Assistant Finance Manager (property)

Our client is a listed property group. They are looking for a diligent and self-motivated individual to perform GL accounting operations of the property development business.

• General ledger accounting
• Candidate with a property background is highly desired
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes for accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations under supervision
• Supervise journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Assist in coordinating auditing matters with external auditors, tax department and other government bureaux
• Perform updates on accounting standards to ensure compliance of corporate policies and statutory requirements
• Support ad hoc assignments

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related disciplines, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent 
• At least five years of accounting experience, preferably working in the property developer industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset
• Proactive attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
