Senior Finance Manager (System)

Our client is a historic institution seeking a hands-on Senior Finance Manager with extensive knowledge of system implementation. This individual will oversee the administration of more than ten finance-related systems and address associated technical issues.

• Strong experience in project management with skills in system design/ programming, etc
• Experienced in leading SAP/ Oracle/ OLAP implementation projects
• Stable working environment

Responsibilities:

• Manage system development and enhancement projects, acting as the project manager
• Drive operation process reviews to improve efficiency, promote automation and innovation, conduct requirement analyses, IT product assessments, systems design, and testings for application system developments
• Coordinate and implement IT plans for new developments and enhancements of finance-related systems
• Develop and improve guidelines and procedures related to quality assurance, risk management, compliance, and business continuity
• Initiate data analysis and reporting and create financial dashboards to support management decision-making.
• Prepare and conduct training sessions and briefings on systems, related guidelines and procedures
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Core Expectations:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, finance, or accounting
• Extensive managerial experience, typically no less than eight years, in IT system implementation for accounting, finance, procurement, staff claims, or other related business areas
• Significant experience in ERP system implementation (e.g., Oracle Financials, SAP) and OLAP is preferred; project management certification is a plus.
• High proficiency in PC and mobile applications, as well as accounting software, with strong knowledge and skills in system design, programming, and system architecture
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
• Detail-minded, self-motivated, and with a strong sense of responsibility
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese as well as English
