Placing Broker - Lloyds Market 

Our client is an insurance group comprising of an independent Lloyd’s broker and and Lloyd’s Coverholder that has achieved year on year growth over the past 17 years.
Based in the City of London, the group has built a strong footprint in the European niche casualty / professional risks market. You will be joining a dynamic, fast-paced and highly meritocratic environment with exciting opportunities for ambitious professionals.

As a key member of a small and experienced team you will be responsible for placing a variety of casualty & professional risks, but also other lines within the syndicate and company market. 

 The successful candidate will be working in a fast moving, results driven  environment, so as well as possessing the necessary face-to-face London Market broking expertise, candidates must be able to adapt quickly and have the ability to devise innovative solution to obstacles.

Salary is open and negotiable, based on the relevance of your skills, expertise and the value you can bring to the business.

Face to face broking of new and renewal business into the syndicate & company markets.
Prepare slips (includes obtaining proposal forms), cover notes, debit notes, policies and endorsements for binding authority and line slip bordereaux
Provide clients with details of terms and conditions as required and deal with any resulting queries
Prepare broking presentations for new and renewal business (includes liaising with clients to obtain the relevant information) and slip endorsements as required
Renew the current business and develop new business (new producers, new markets, new products)
Maintain strong business relationships with Producers and Underwriters and develop new relationships
Implement the business strategy and aims of the division and report progress at the appropriate meetings
