They are experiencing significant growth and are looking for an ambitious Head of Applications to lead their development team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong software development background using .NET and Azure, to shape the applications landscape at a large Australian brand.

Managing a team of around 10 people (likely to grow to 15), you will drive key software initiatives while offering technical direction.
This role would suit someone who still enjoys being close to technology and has management experience but wants to take the next step in their career to lead bigger teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 10, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of critical software applications with a strong focus on .NET and Azure solutions.
• Provide hands-on leadership in Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations) customisation and integration projects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and IT, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Drive best practices in coding standards, architecture, and agile development processes.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of enterprise applications hosted on Azure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong software development background using Microsoft technologies - .NET and Azure
• Hands on experience with D365 (Finance and Operations) would be a plus.
• Experience managing and leading cross-functional software development teams
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Exposure to out the box software (D365, Salesforce etc.)
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
