Sales Engineer (JN -032025-62326) Lincoln, England

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, on the outskirts of Lincoln.

 

Working: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30, and Friday 8am - 4pm. (30 minute break)

Hybrid working, 2 days a week on completion of probation

 

Purpose of the role:

 

The Sales Engineer will need to approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business, and strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible, generating sales leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals through customer visits, over the phone or via email, with the overarching view of achieving revenue targets and expanding our customer base.

 

They will also be responsible for combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products to our customers to help.

Experience required:

 

  • Good commercial awareness and preferably a background in B2B.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of Profit Plus (OGL) would be an advantage.
  • A background in engineering products and consumables would be preferable.
  • Strong understanding of sales, customer service, and financial management.
  • Exceptional knowledge of UK fluid power industry and strong connections across UK manufacturing industry.
