We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Team Leader Cell Manager on behalf of our well established client in Lincoln. This is a full time, permanent role. 

The successful candidate must have a manufacturing/ engineering background.

Working day shifts, Monday to Thursday 6am - 3:30pm and Friday 6am - 12pm

Salary: from £30,000 depending on experience.

Main Duties:

• You will be accountable for providing supervision, leadership, planning and guidance to a team to achieve Cell objectives in an efficient and safe manner
• Cost control to include time management will be part of your role
• You will be accountable for technical continuous improvement, identification and resolution of daily issues and providing or contributing to solutions
• You will meet daily targets of production, quality and safety whilst achieving customer on time delivery
• Stock control for items within your area of responsibility will be part of your role

Qualifications:

• You own previous technical experience in a manufacturing environment. Surface coating application or aerospace sector experience is desirable but not essential
• Furthermore, you must have experience in team leadership/management Good interpersonal and relationship building skills are essential in this role
• You have the ability to work in a demanding user environment and have strong multi-tasking, prioritisation and planning skills
• You can make independent decisions, evaluate people and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• You have strong capacity to drive change with a clear customer focus
• And lastly, you have a robust drive for results through ability to provide compelling reasons for ideas and recommendations
