Warehouse Manager – Reading

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager ready for your next challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of a client for a vital role based in Reading. This is your opportunity to take full ownership of warehouse operations, from managing stock and loan kits to leading a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the warehouse including stock
• Act as the direct line manager for all employees working in the warehouse area, ensuring effective leadership, training, and motivation
• Monitor and manage stock levels using SAP, maintaining optimal PAR levels
• Ensure all demo and loan kits are prepared, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
• Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
• Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct training, and maintain compliance to create a safe working environment
• Continuously assess and improve warehouse processes to boost productivity and reduce errors
• Manage supplier relationships, returns, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on stock, operational performance, and team productivity

What We’re Looking For:

• Warehouse management experience with a proven track record of leadership
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and team management skills
• Proficiency in SAP, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
• Experience working within the medical industry would be advantageous but not essential
